Recently, Simone Biles has been practicing a lot of transparency about her plastic surgeries. After revealing last month that she’d gotten a lower blepharoplasty and breast implants, the Olympic gold medalist got into the nitty-gritty details on TikTok. In a video posted on Wednesday, Biles shared that she got 310cc, high-profile, extra-filled silicone implants. They were placed under the muscle “to get the most natural look,” Biles added. She got the surgery done in Houston, Texas, in June by Dr. Kriti Mohan, who she said was “the best.”

It sounds like Biles had a tougher time than she expected recovering from the procedure. “Y’all lied — this shit hurts so bad,” she said, saying she took a full two weeks to recuperate. “The very first day, [my husband] Jonathan had to physically lift me up out of bed and take me to the restroom,” she said, explaining that she thinks her difficult recovery may have been because of how muscular she is, and the implants were inserted under the muscle. She recalled being startled by the results at first — “they were to my neck, and I did freak out, and I did talk to my doctor and I was like, ‘Take them out, they need to be smaller, blah, blah, blah,’ because they looked like aliens at first,” she said. “But now they’re perfect.”
In an interview with People earlier this month, Biles said she wanted to be “as transparent as possible” about any cosmetic work she gets done because “social media is not real.” “Seeing me win medals at the Olympics, that’s not relatable,” she said. “But what is relatable is how we feel about ourselves, what we talk about, what we go through, and how we share openly, honestly.”
