The factory worker whom President Donald Trump seemingly mouthed “Fuck you” to not once but twice is ready to talk. On Tuesday, in a video first published by TMZ, Trump was caught mouthing that obscenity and giving the middle finger to a Ford worker after the individual called him a “pedophile protector” during a visit to the auto company’s F-150 plant. According to the Washington Post, that man has since been identified as 40-year-old T.J. Sabula. And as he told the outlet, he has “no regrets whatsoever” about the whole situation.
Sabula, a United Auto Workers Local 600 line worker at the Michigan plant, told the Post he’d been suspended from his job over middle finger–gate and is now waiting on the results of a company investigation. While he’s concerned about the future of his job, Sabula said he believes he has been unfairly targeted for “embarrassing Trump in front of his friends” over his handling of the Epstein files.
When asked about the incident on Tuesday, White House spokesperson Steven Cheung told People in a statement, “A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the president gave an appropriate and unambiguous response.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Ford told TMZ the same day, “We had a great event today and we’re proud of how our employees represented Ford. We’ve seen the clip you’re referring to. One of our core values is respect and we don’t condone anyone saying anything inappropriate like that within our facilities. When that happens, we have a process to deal with it, but we don’t get into specific personnel matters.”
Too late, as it seems Sabula is taking those personnel matters into his own hands. He told the Post that he maintains he was 60 feet away from Trump and is certain that the president could hear him “very, very, very clearly” when he called him a pedo protector. “I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity,” Sabula added. “And today I think I did that.”
