If you thought you’d be able to process the historical passing of Pope Francis by watching Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci scheme together in robes tonight, think again. Conclave, the Oscar-winning film about a bunch of guys getting together to select a new pontiff, is no longer streaming on Peacock. It is, in fact, only available for paid rental right now, something Cardinal Tedesco would probably love. But don’t lose faith: According to the Amazon Prime Video landing page, Conclave will begin streaming there April 22 at midnight ET. That means you can watch Conclave tomorrow, unless you can speak Latin want to drop $5.99 on the rental fee. But remember, the real conclave won’t start for awhile — it must begin within 15 to 20 days of a pope’s death, and 138 cardinals have to get to Rome for it. So there’s time to plan your watch party before those big metal window screens officially come down.
