Babe, Wake Up, there’s a Dead Man. The newest Knives Out Mystery is set in a church, starring a hot priest and Andrew Scott. But somehow the hot priest is not played by Andrew Scott. Challengers star Josh O’Connor is the daddy father at the center of Benoit Blanc’s newest mystery. Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin), whom O’Connor’s Reverend Jud Duplenticy hated, is dead. “Everything thinks I did it,” O’Connor says in the November 17 trailer. “I didn’t do it.” While the first teaser for the film introduced the crime, this trailer clues the audience in on the characters’ relationships. One shot shows Glenn Close as churchgoer Martha Delacroix getting smacked on the butt by groundskeeper Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church) — are they in cahoots? Meanwhile, Mila Kunis as police officer Geraldine Scott toils alongside Daniel Craig’s Blanc. “There’s some Scooby-Doo shit going on here,” she tells him. Blanc responds with a classic “Scooby-dooby-doo!”
