Zendaya never takes a break. Just when you think that she’s enjoying a little me-time, seemingly absent from our theater’s marquee, she’s actually filming multiple movies back to back. It’s called hustling! Next year, we won’t be able to get enough of Zendaya (or her fiancé, Tom Holland), and it feels like the ending of Holes: a refreshing burst of rain after a drought. Even if some of the announced projects are still on the way. Here’s everything that Zendaya has been working on, from the coming soon to eventually coming.
The Odyssey (2026)
Gotta bring back the classics for Zendaya’s return to the big screen. While her specific role isn’t known, there are plenty of options for her in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation, like one of the sirens or Circe. It’ll be her first project out in 2026, coming out on July 17 alongside Tom Holland, who’s playing Odysseus’s son, Telemachus.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)
Daya returns as MJ for the fourth time in the new Spider-Man movie on July 31, 2026, making this her second upcoming release for next year. The last time we saw her, MJ doesn’t remember Peter Parker, and they’re technically broken up. Sad! This is also a perfect weekend to do an ever-important TomDaya double feature with The Odyssey.
Dune: Part Three (2026)
Third times the charm. Zendaya’s reprising her role as Chani for Dune: Part Three, out around the holidays on December 18, 2026.

Euphoria (2026)
Will Rue finally make her way back to Euphoria? Yes, but who knows when. Z debuted a first look at the third season of the HBO hit earlier this year, with reports of filming and new cast members, including Rosalía and Marshawn Lynch.
Shrek 5 (2027)
Shrek and Fiona have teenage triplets now, it seems like just yesterday they were on their honeymoon. Zendaya is playing their daughter, Felicia for the upcoming movie, now set to release on June 30, 2027, just in time for Fourth of July.
The Drama (TBD)
Despite having plenty of projects in the books next year, there’s still more to come. The Drama, directed and written by Dream Scenario’s Kristoffer Borgli, follows “a romance that takes an unexpected turn before a couple’s big day.” She’ll be reuniting with Robert Pattinson, with whom she worked on The Odyssey and (allegedly) on Dune: Part Three. The movie’s already filmed so it’s a matter of time before we get an official release date.
Be My Baby (TBD)
Directed by Barry Jenkins and written by Dave Kajganich, Zendaya will play the beloved Ronnie Spector in an upcoming biopic with A24. There hasn’t been word yet on if production has started on the movie or not, however, Z did get Spector’s stamp of approval before she died in 2022, as Spector hand-selected Zendaya for the role.
