Ivanka Trump has paused her jujitsu training for the week to head to Venice, Italy, for Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’s wedding. On Tuesday, the First Daughter, along with Jared Kushner and their three children, left their private island in Florida and landed at the Marco Polo Airport, where they were seen boarding a water taxi in their finest Mediterranean-vacation garb. While the socialite family is in for quite a packed itinerary of elbow rubbing and pasta eating, it appears they’ve already missed the pre-wedding foam party. Alas.
The Bezos-Sánchez guest list is reportedly packed with A-listers and oligarch-adjacent figures including Ivanka’s in-laws Joshua Kushner and Karlie Kloss and her brother Donald Trump Jr. with his plus one, Bettina Anderson. Eva Longoria, Oprah and Gayle King, Kris Jenner, and Kim Kardashian all also scored invites, per TMZ.

Among the other celebs, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are rumored to be en route to Venice, but the couple is apparently on the verge of a breakup after Perry’s highly criticized 11-minute trip to space with Sánchez. Per TMZ, Bloom is planning to attend the wedding stag and “hit the dance floor hard,” whatever that means.
Although Venice locals have vowed to do whatever they can to disrupt the wedding, it looks as if Ivanka’s arrival went off without a hitch. Still, we have a whole weekend for trouble to arise …
