It may not always be a great idea to invite vampires into your home, but we’ve got to make an exception for Sinners. Ryan Coogler’s original thriller has already entranced movie-going audiences, notching an impressive $45 million over its opening weekend alone, so you’re probably wondering when it’ll get its second life on digital platforms. As of now, there’s no confirmed date for when Sinners hits VOD. The film is still in theaters, and because of its successful two-week run, Warner Bros. Discovery is rereleasing Coogler’s film back in 70mm. Imax theaters from May 15 to 21.
Right now, Sinners is currently available for preorder, with no option to rent just yet. WBD has usually timed its PVOD premieres about a month after a film’s theater debut. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, one of WBD’s more financially successful films of 2024 (apologies to Joker: Folie à Deux), premiered on September 6 and was available on PVOD by October 8. Dune: Part Two and Mickey 17 had similar windows. So if we were to take a wildly educated guess, Sinners could follow you home as early as June.
