Timothée Chalamet’s quest for greatness is not limited to cinema. For his musical return to rhythm and poetry, Chalamet teamed up with mysterious British rapper EsDeeKid, shortly after denying rumors that the rapper was his secret identity. In their new song “4 RAWS (REMIX),” dropped on December 19, the French-American rapper (Timmy) and the Liverpool rapper (DeeKid) are “still sippin’ dirty (lean)” beneath the bandanas covering their faces. Most of Chalamet’s lyrics in the song are silly and include some Marty Supreme promo and he still proves that he knows how to rap at a moment’s notice. “It’s Timothée Chalamet chill, tryna stack a hundred million/Girl got a billion,” Chalamet raps, seemingly about his billionaire girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. She has a type, and it’s nice that Timmy fits right in.

Chalamet and EsDeeKid found a way to fold the doppleganger rumors into the Marty Supreme press tour. Two days ago, BBC News asked Chalamet if he’s heard the rumors that he’s secretly a rapper in disguise, and his answer proves his ability to improvise even when caught off guard. “All will be revealed,” he sternly told the outlet, avoiding any follow-ups. For a real surprise, maybe he can rap a little during his movie introduction appearances for Marty this weekend.
