What Did Theo Von and Ivanka Trump Talk About at Dinner?

It looks like Ivanka Trump’s Miami squad has grown by one. Over the weekend, comedian and podcaster Theo Von showed up in the Sunshine State and spent some quality time with the First Daughter and her husband, Jared Kushner. While they didn’t take any jujitsu classes together, they sure look like they had a good time.

It’s unclear how long Von was in Miami, but he hung out with Trump and Kushner at least twice during his stay. The threesome enjoyed dinner together in Miami over Mother’s Day weekend and, according to a photo Trump posted, shared five large desserts with each other. Not very MAHA of them, but at least there was a fruit plate. Alex Bruesewitz, President Donald Trump’s media adviser, also posted a photo of himself with Von, Ivanka, and Kushner at Von’s Return of the Rat comedy tour. “Thanks for pullin up king,” Von responded.

Is this surprising? Yes and no. Von, who first gained notoriety on MTV’s Road Rules and The Challenge, has become a prominent figure in the manosphere in the past few years, thanks to his bro-y, conservative-leaning podcast, This Past Weekend. The political content skews right, but Von has interviewed everyone from Mark Zuckerberg and J.D. Vance to Bernie Sanders and Timothée Chalamet. He was also one of the stops Trump made on his grand mid-campaign podcast tour, and he later attended the inauguration — which may explain the Ivanka connection.

That being said, it is hard to imagine what exactly this trio could have discussed. Surfing? Cinema? Probably not politics, considering Ivanka has stepped back from the Trump White House and appears to be enjoying her time safely sequestered on the private island she shares with Tom Brady. Must be nice!
