CinemaCon began on March 31 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and features panels about the future of movies, trade shows, an award for making the most money, and a handy-dandy snapshot of films slated to hit theaters in 2026, all of them based on preexisting franchises. There’s Fast X: Part 2, Shrek 5, and Scream 7, and the list includes Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, if you consider epic poetry intellectual property. These are blockbusters, people.
