Wait, Is Taylor Swift Teasing a Super Bowl Halftime Performance?

by thenowvibe_admin

To an untrained eye, Taylor Swift just talked for 2 hours on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s, podcast New Heights and announced her new album The Life of a Showgirl. To a trained Swiftie eye, Swift just left over two hours of clues and Easter Eggs for us to decode. The biggest theory of all? Swift might be performing on next year’s Super Bowl 60 halftime show on Sunday, February 8, in Santa Clara, CA. But what crumbs did Swift leave for us to uncover? Here are all the hints that Taylor Swift might possibly be the showgirl headlining the Super Bowl halftime show in 2026.

The numerology of it all

Like a good sourdough, we have to begin with the starter. Swift primed her fans to be on the lookout for any significant numbers on the podcast. “I love numerology. I love math stuff. I love dates,” Swift explained. “Numbers that have a specific significance.” Travis and Swift gave examples, such as how her favorite number, 13, and his jersey number, 87, add up to 100.

The number 47 kept getting repeated

At the top of the episode, Swift thanked Jason for screaming for “47 seconds” during his introduction of her. Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium was the 47th concert of her tour, where she sang “Stay Stay Stay” and “All the Girls You’ve Loved Before,” a possible ode to Travis. She also joked that she visited 47,000 countries on the Eras tour (Swift visited 21). Levi’s Stadium is also the host of the Super Bowl in 2025.

Sourdough Sam, anyone?

Throughout the interview, Swift shared her love of baking sourdough bread. “The sourdough has taken over my life in a huge way. I’m really talking about bread 60% of the time now,” Swift told the Kelces on New Heights. 60? Like LX? Super Bowl LX?

That’s not the only fermented hint. The mascot of the San Francisco 49ers, host of the Super Bowl next year, is Sourdough Sam, a miner who “brings the bread with him during a hard day’s work of digging in gold mines.” Swift also made it a point to share that she gave Kelce two loaves of sourdough to take to training camp.

She would only consider doing it if she owns all her music

Back in 2022, TMZ reported that the NFL offered Swift the halftime show gig, but she wasn’t interested in doing it until she owned all of her music. Then in 2023, when rumors of a halftime performance began swirling again, a source close to the NFL told the Daily Mail: “She wants to be a part of the show at some point and is leaning towards doing it in a few years, especially if the Super Bowl is in Nashville.” While Santa Clara is across the country from Nashville, three years does give Swift plenty of time to change her mind, especially when she has a new album coming out and the thought of going through another Ticketmaster war scares the hell out of everyone. Doing the Super Bowl will be the most accessible way for fans to experience a live show from Swift.

Travis has no poker face

Throughout the interview, when it seems like Swift was giving away clues or Easter Eggs, Travis could not stop smirking. Is it because his girlfriend is breaking the internet by being on his podcast? Maybe. Or it possibly because he knows she’s teasing a Super Bowl performance and he just can’t contain his excitement.
