‘Troll’ Who Rushed Ariana Grande Charged With Being a ‘Public Nuisance’

by thenowvibe_admin

Get this troll back under the bridge. Johnson Wen, a self-described “Troll Most Hated” who regularly invades pop singers’ spaces, is being charged by authorities in Singapore for rushing at Ariana Grande on November 13, per the BBC. He is expected to plead guilty to being a public nuisance and will face a fine of up to S$2,000, which is equivalent to $1,540. Wen went viral on social media for a clip in which he’s seen jumping a barricade at the Wicked: For Good Singapore premiere. In the 13-second video, Cynthia Erivo pulls him off the pop star before security swarms him. Wen was arrested following the incident. Grande has not yet commented on the moment.

This is not Wen’s first social-media stunt. Though he frames himself as an Arianator, writing “Ariana Grande is the Queen,” Wen’s previous trolling has centered on him jumping onstage at Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and the Chainsmokers concerts. In all of the videos, neither the security teams nor the clearly uncomfortable artists affect him. Wen posted the video of him charging at Grande to social media himself on November 13. “Dear Ariana Grande,” he wrote in the caption. “Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You ❤️” Will S$2000 be enough to get him to stop? Bodyguards and Cynthia Erivo can only hope.
