And so Netflix merges with Disney to create one huge mega-corporation we assume will be called Nizfley. Or, at least, they were combined into something at the SAG Awards on February 23. Noted straddler of the entertainment giants Kristen Bell (who played both Anna in Frozen and the shiksa in Nobody Wants This) hosted the awards, which were broadcast on Netflix, and sang a parody of her Frozen track “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” titled “Do You Wanna Be an Actor?” Accompanying the number were old videos of the attendees’ first roles. Forgot that Selena Gomez was on Barney? No more! Bell broadcast a video of her hugging Barney while she asked if you wanted to “hug a purple dinosaur?” Our favorite reference, though, has to be to Zoë Saldaña next to Britney Spears in the iconic, Shonda Rhimes–penned film Crossroads. Now that is an early role.
