Sean “Diddy” Combs’s sex-trafficking trial slipped into sticky territory for the fallen rapper on June 13 during testimony about the raid on his Los Angeles home last year — where the Feds discovered more than 1,000 bottles of lubricant and similar products. Andre LaMon, a special agent with Homeland Security Investigations, told jurors that authorities found “900 or something” bottles of Astroglide and “200 or so” bottles of baby oil during a search. That’s a lot of lube! Other than the shock-and-awe power of this figure, LaMon’s description of this evidence backs up prior witness testimony about Diddy’s “Freak Off” parties, which are also known as “hotel nights.”

Diddy is accused of pressuring romantic partners into drug-fueled sexual encounters with male escorts. Prosecutors have said that baby oil and Astroglide were key components of these encounters. Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, Diddy’s ex and his first accuser to testify, said that “Freak Offs” involved copious amounts of lube and oil. Cassie even described “a pool, like, a blowup pool, and … filled with lube and oil” in a hotel room. A onetime Diddy assistant testified that he helped stock his boss’s hotel rooms with items including Astroglide. A hotel employee revealed to jurors that a Diddy hotel tab included a $500 charge for “oil damage.”  Another Fed previously testified that bottles of baby oil and lubricant were discovered at Diddy’s Miami manse. LaMon’s discussion of baby oil and Astroglide, and evidence photos with large amounts of both liquids shown to jurors, bolsters claims about these parties.
