Listen up, rastas and spiritual people. The Oasis reunion tour is 51 days away from kicking off, and Liam Gallagher hasn’t joined the band for rehearsals yet. You’d know this if you followed the replies to his relentlessly confounding Twitter account, where he told a fan that he’s due to play with his brother again behind closed doors in about three weeks. What he does possess at the moment, however, is the set list that the duo will be fine-tuning when Judgement Day arrives. Gallagher has responded to several messages this week to confirm “Hey Now!,” “Acquiesce,” and “Go Let It Out” didn’t make the cut for the tour — a trio of songs that, in fairness, aren’t part of the Oasis 101 curriculum. “Nobody’s taking the piss do you think I like upsetting people. It’s just not that deep let it go,” he told one disappointed fan. Adding to someone with a separate song request, Gallagher emphasized, “The setlist is done … now don’t take it personally and call me hurty names as it’s not my fault we can’t play them all.” (Indeed, in another tweet about the decisions, Gallagher was keen to snarl, “It’s half Noel’s you little turd why do I get all the blame.”) But is it definite? Maybe.
