Are Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers returning?
Yes and no. Mostly yes, though. According to Deadline, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas are reprising their roles as Jason, Shane, and Nate Gray respectively. Demi Lovato is returning, but only as an executive producer with the JoBros. So no Mitchie. But her mom, Connie (Wizards of Waverly Place’s Maria Canals-Barrera is coming back. Maybe she’s been promoted in the intervening years.
Who are the new attendees of Camp Rock?
Don’t worry, Disney still has plenty of teen stars to cram in their original movies. Liamani Segura (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland), Malachi Barton (Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires), Lumi Pollack (Electric Bloom), and Casey Trotter (The Thundermans) are all moving from one Disney property to another.

What’s going to happen on the summer I turned pretty went to Camp Rock?
Like the Jonas Brothers themselves, Connect 3 disbanded and reunited in the years between Camp Rocks 2 and 3. Was it Nate’s fault, like in real life? Camp Rock 3 will see Connect 3 return to “their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing,” per the movie’s blogline. “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.” The tweens may change, but the song remains the same.
