FKA Twigs announced on Saturday that she had to cancel all her scheduled North American tour dates. This includes Coachella next weekend and the now-canceled AXE Ceremonia. The Eusexua artist cited “ongoing visa issues” as the barrier to performing these dates. “it pains me to say this because i am so excited to bring you a creation that i have poured my soul into and i believe is amongst my strongest work and i know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows,” she wrote. “i promise that i am working to reschedule the affected dates as quickly as possible.” FKA Twigs is working to reschedule upcoming dates in San Francisco, New York and Chicago through the end of June.
FKA Twigs isn’t the only star to back out of Coachella this year. Anitta and Gel withdrew from the festival as well. In their stead, Ed Sheeran and Weezer will be joining the lineup.
