Ethan Hawke Finds a ‘Great Lesson’ in Quentin Tarantino’s Paul Dano Negativity

by thenowvibe_admin

Imagine if someone really popular and well-respected said something incredibly mean about you, seemingly for no reason. Horrible! Now, imagine other popular and well-respected people came out, almost immediately, to publicly contradict the first person to say how talented and kind you are. That’s the world Paul Dano is living in, and now his buddy Ethan Hawke is sharing an important perspective for Dano to consider. Speaking on the Joe Rogan podcast, Hawke says that the whole “hateful” comments situation between Quentin Tarantino and Dano is a “great lesson” in dealing with negativity. “I don’t think Paul Dano ever knew that so many people loved him,” Hawke pointed out. “He’s gotta wake up one morning and find out this director’s went off on him and saying these hateful things, but anyone who knows Quentin knows he just talks and talks. Anyone who knows Paul knows he’s a world-class human being.”

Earlier this month, on a podcast, Tarantino called Dano “weak sauce” and the “worst fucking actor in SAG” for his performance in There Will Be Blood. Since then, many members of Hollywood, like Daniel Day-Lewis and Ben Stiller, have publicly shared their support of Dano. Hawke concludes, “All this love for Paul is coming out. There’s a great lesson in that. You don’t have to worry about the negativity people send your way.”
