Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro have entered the grocery-shopping stage of their relationship. Although we can’t see much of their haul from the grainy paparazzi images, there is a rather large pack of toilet paper sitting prominently in their cart. This, to me, signals that the couple is official, because why would anyone purchase toilet paper with someone they weren’t seriously dating? Especially Scott Comfort Plus.
Garfield and Barbaro have “been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly,” a source told People back in February. Since then, they’ve been spotted together at award shows, after-parties, and now, grocery stores. The trifecta, if you will.

Before his romance with Barbaro, Garfield was in a well-documented flirtationship with Amelia Dimoldenberg that gave us a rom-com-worthy episode of Chicken Shop Date last October. Dimoldenberg then hosted the 2025 Oscars red carpet in March and had an awkward yet charming run-in with Barbaro, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in A Complete Unknown. Prior to that, Garfield was linked to a “professional witch” named Dr. Kate Thomas. The range!
Although Garfield let his girlfriend push the grocery cart (boo), it does appear that he returned it back to its proper place once they were done (yay). I’ll give him points for that.
