The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs for sex trafficking and racketeering isn’t over yet, but there are already rumors swirling that he will seek a presidential pardon from Trump. 50 Cent isn’t going to let that happen. Curtis Jackson made multiple Instagram posts to that effect. “He said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. Im gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,” Jackson wrote in one. And in another, he said “Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect, and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him. while working tirelessly to make America great again there is no room for distraction. He would consider pardoning anyone who was being mistreated not Puffy Daddy.”
But how likely would a presidential pardon for Diddy be? At a press conference Friday, Trump said “People have been very close to asking” for a Diddy pardon, but no one has actually reached out yet. “I would certainly look at the facts. If I think somebody is mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact on me.” He then went on about how much Diddy doesn’t like him, kind of undermining that statement. “I haven’t seen him, I haven’t spoken to him in years. He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics that relationship busted up. From what I read. I don’t know, he didn’t tell me that,” Trump said. “But I read some little bit nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden.”
