After an impressive run on this season of Dancing With the Stars, Whitney Leavitt is leaving the small screen to make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She teased the announcement while appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast last week. “What I can say is that a dance that Mark and I performed to on Dancing With the Stars is going to come to life. And everyone’s gonna know on Monday,” she said, not-so-subtly referring to the pair’s dance to “Cell Block Tango” from the play.
Leavitt announced the news on Instagram with a clip of her sitting in a chair and snapping her fingers to the intro of “Roxie.” “Grateful beyond words to ANNOUNCE that I will be joining @chicagomusical in the iconic role of Roxie Hart 💕,” she wrote in the caption. “See you in New York City!”
If you’re unfamiliar with Leavitt’s lore, she amassed a following on TikTok in 2022 when she was part of a group of Utah-based Mormon TikTokers who called themselves “MomTok.” After the group went through a “soft swinging” scandal, they went on to film a reality TV show that follows the group of women as they navigate their lives in the church called The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Leavitt will be following in the footsteps of other reality-TV stars turned Roxie Harts, including Ariana Madix, Erika Jayne, and Lisa Rinna, who stepped into the role before entering the Bravo universe. Chicago is well-known for stunt casting beyond Bravolebrities, too: Pamela Anderson, Rumer Willis, Ashlee Simpson, Alyssa Milano, Michelle Williams, Brooke Shields, and Brandy have all held the role at one point during the show’s 29-year run.

Leavitt will take the stage for a six-week limited engagement starting on February 2, 2026. That should give you enough time to catch up on Mormon Wives, right?
