Arnold Schwarzenegger and Whoopi Goldberg were at the grand opening of a New York City Planet Hollywood? Last night? And it’s not 1991? No, but the showbiz-themed restaurant is back in Times Square in the year 2025 (without the memorabilia this time), and on Tuesday night it held a star-studded grand opening. The night was hosted by newly minted reality stars Alec and Hilaria Baldwin with Boy George in the DJ booth and a guest list that featured celebrities from all across the fame spectrum. Who says DEI is dead?
The party kicked off with a hot red carpet, where the Baldwins got to show off these cool hats.
Also on the carpet was Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earle, posing alongside New York mayor Eric Adams. Thumbs-up, indeed.
Moving inside, we can see that there was some great mingling happening. Did you know that Alec Baldwin is friends with 50 Cent? Look how excited they are to see each other.
Joining the two besties was Pete Davidson, who can be seen here being clutched by Baldwin in a grip so tight that Pete’s sunglasses must be obscuring sincere distress.
50 Cent kept moving through the party, at one point saying “hello” to Planet Hollywood co-founder Schwarzenegger and OG supporter Goldberg. As he said in his Instagram post about the evening, “The vibes was right, cool people all over the place.”
Now, would it be an event in Manhattan without at least one Real Housewife showing up? This party was graced by the presence of both Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps, the latter wearing a fabulous hat. (A true woman about town, de Lesseps also made an appearance at the Sandals Resorts “Made of Caribbean” global brand campaign launch Tuesday night. She stayed in the same outfit.)

Oh, also, Liev Schreiber was there looking like he just finished teaching a banger of a lesson about The Crucible to his tenth-graders.
