As Tom Cruise has proved time and time again, he is not afraid of anything. Usually, that means he’s willing to risk his life for a Mission: Impossible stunt, but it also means that he’s down to bringing his close personal female mentee to a concert performed by two of his certified haters.
Over the weekend, Cruise attended Oasis’s reunion tour at Wembley Stadium in London with his soon-to-be co-star Ana de Armas. The pair is gearing up to film what has been described as an “undersea supernatural film” together, which for some reason means they are spending a lot of time together outside of their training facility. A couple of weeks ago, they were wearing complementary hats on a yacht in Spain, and then a source told People that de Armas was single but that their dynamic was “not romantic.” On Friday, they were platonically bobbing along to Britpop classics together. The pair was spotted next to each other in the background of a video posted by British DJ Goldie, who also got a selfie with Cruise.

Of course, the Gallaghers have seemingly changed their minds about hating each other, so maybe they’ve got new opinions on Cruise as well. He hadn’t yet done the helicopter stunt from Mission: Impossible — Fallout when they were saying this. Even if that’s not the case, it doesn’t seem like Cruise cares at all. Hateration is not going to stop him from bringing his girl who’s not his girl to see Wonderwall live.
