Nancy Pelosi had her paws up on Sunday. The former Speaker of the House attended Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball in San Francisco with her husband, Paul, and in a sort of surprising turn of events, the couple opted for floor seats instead of Salesforce’s luxury suite. Maybe they were hoping Gaga would see them nailing the “Bad Romance” choreo.

“It was a fabulous show in San Francisco,” Pelosi shared on X. “The most fun I’ve had in a long time.” In a slightly more detailed statement to the San Francisco Chronicle, Pelosi said, “Lady Gaga is very beautiful, extraordinarily talented and surprisingly humble! It was a fabulous show.”
The Chronicle also found an Instagram post by a woman who sat behind Pelosi, who wrote that the 85-year-old “danced the entire show.”

This is not the first time Pelosi has seen Gaga live. In 2021, she masked up and went to Radio City for Gaga and Tony Bennett’s joint show. What is the likelihood that Pelosi is most familiar with Gaga as “that lovely young woman who sings with Tony Bennett”? My guess is that it’s pretty high.
