Big weekend for Ozzy Osbourne. The former Black Sabbath frontman had his farewell concert Saturday, and also saw his daughter get engaged. To a member of Slipknot, no less. Kelly Osbourne posted a video of her engagement on Instagram Sunday, writing “Oh and this happened yesterday!” It showed Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson getting down on one knee. “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world,” he said. But before he could get further into his prepared remarks, Ozzy cut in. “Fuck off,” he interjected. “You’re not marrying my daughter.” It was all in jest though. Wilson finished proposing, Osbourne said yes, then everyone saw Ozzy sing “Crazy Train” one last time. Wilson and Osbourne first met in 1999 when Slipknot played Ozzfest. The began dating in early 2022, and had a child together in November that same year.
