The prodigal son of pop music has returned to the fold. Justin Bieber will perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday, the Recording Academy confirmed. This marks his first public solo performance since he had to cancel his 2022 concert tour. The singer is nominated for four awards this year: Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for SWAG, Best R&B Performance for “Yukon,” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Daisies.” This will be Bieber’s fourth Grammy Awards performance and his first since 2022’s acoustic “Peaches” that Bieber performed on a piano before being joined by Daniel Caesar and Giveon.
Over the past few years, Bieber has been famously reclusive. After canceling his 2022 tour due to his battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, the singer appeared once at SZA’s 2024 Toronto show to sing “Snooze” but has otherwise avoided singing in public. His Grammys performance comes ahead of his headlining set at Coachella this April — an international stage is one way to warm up, at least.

Bieber’s fellow performers will include the entire slate of Best New Artist nominees: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, and the Marías. Additionally, Bieber’s fellow Coachella headliner Sabrina Carpenter, fashion designer Pharrell Williams, and rap duo Clipse will perform at the February 1 ceremony hosted by Trevor Noah. We belieb this will be a good show.
