Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s baby arrived last week, and MGK celebrated the birth in an Instagram post. “She’s finally here!!” he wrote, “our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️.” The announcement understandably led some people to believe the former couple had named their daughter Celestial Seed. Of course, two people affiliated with carcass-eating rituals, blood vials, and witchcraft would name their daughter … that. (Need I remind you that Fox announced the pregnancy covered in tar?) But on Monday, MGK clarified that his daughter is not named Celestial Seed — only that she is his celestial seed. Got it.

Per People, the singer posted a screenshot of a TikTok with the caption “Megan Fox has welcome [sic] baby girl Celestial Seed” to his Instagram Story. “Wait guys…her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’ 🤣,” he wrote. “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready.”

This is disappointing because I don’t see how these two are going to top Celestial Seed. Still, I remain hopeful that they can find a compelling contribution to the eccentric-baby-name canon. So long, Celestial Seed. I miss you already.
