Harry Styles has really been enjoying himself during his nearly three-year hiatus from the spotlight. In that time, he ran multiple marathons, pulled up to the papal conclave, and started dating Zoë Kravitz. Unfortunately for him, a sabbatical doesn’t last forever, and it seems like the singer is headed back to work.
On Monday, Styles appeared to be teasing some kind of return to the spotlight. Posters appeared in New York City, Berlin, Palermo, and São Paulo, all bearing the message “We belong together.” The text, it seems, is not a Mariah Carey reference but a line that Styles delivered a couple of weeks ago in an eight-minute YouTube video that featured footage from the final performance of his Love on Tour show.
We Belong Together.
NYC. Palermo. São Paulo. Berlin.

The posters direct people to the website webelongtogether.co, a landing page that allows fans to opt in to text messages straight from “HSHQ” after providing their name, gender identity, phone number, email address, and birth date. It turns out the price of knowing about a new Harry Styles album slightly before everyone else is just your personal data.
If this is another album, Styles couldn’t have picked a better time to stage his big return. Most of the pop girls aren’t in album-promo mode this year; he’s been gone long enough for people to forget about Don’t Worry Darling; and, maybe most important, his entire fan base is probably jacked up on Heated Rivalry right now. What better moment to get back in the mix?
