Donald Trump Is Not Done Posting About Taylor Swift

by thenowvibe_admin

Just because Taylor Swift is on a hiatus from the public eye doesn’t mean we don’t all know when she’s having a bad week. First, she was dragged even further into Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal battle, and a source told People that the singer’s friendship with her former bestie is “halted” at the moment. For most people, that would be enough to qualify as “having a rough one,” but Swift gets the added bummer of being directly attacked by the president of the United States — again.

To remind you of where these two stand, Trump posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” after the singer endorsed Kamala Harris for president last September. The president later celebrated on Truth Social when Swift was booed at the Super Bowl, writing, “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” Somehow, he’s still going on about her and is now insisting that she’s fallen off.

On Friday, Donald Trump shared this brief musing on Truth Social: “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”

It’s sort of unclear if he means “hot” as in attractive or “hot” as in culturally relevant. Either way, he — a man who looks like a deflated basketball and whose favorite song is “Memory” from Cats — does not really have a leg to stand on.

Swift was not Trump’s only pop-culture target on Friday. He also swiped at Bruce Springsteen, who opened his U.K. tour on Wednesday by telling the crowd that the current administration is “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous.” Trump fired back in a lengthy Truth Social post, in which he called the Boss “highly overrated” and a “pushy, obnoxious JERK.”

“This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just ‘standard fare,’” Trump wrote, “Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!” Is that a vague threat of retribution when Springsteen arrives back in the U.S.? Does Trump know that a team-up between boomer Springsteen fans and Swifties could bring on an insurrection that would make January 6 look like a child’s tea party?
