Ever since Michelle Obama skipped a few political events in January, speculation about the state of her and Barack’s marriage has been rampant. Meanwhile, Michelle — who’s been rolling out the podcast she co-hosts with her brother — has made a point to talk openly about her still very much intact relationship. And now Barack is joining in on the fun.
On Wednesday, Barack appeared on Michelle’s podcast, IMO, which she hosts with her brother, Craig Robinson. After Barack joined the recording, Robinson poked a little fun at the incessant divorce rumors. “Wait, you guys like each other?” he quipped.
Michelle and Barack definitely got a kick out of it. “Oh yeah, really — the rumor mill. It’s my husband, y’all!” Michelle replied. “She took me back!” Barack joked. “It was touch and go for a while.” Robinson then thanked Barack for joining the show, joking that it was “so nice to have you both in the same room.”

“I know, because when we aren’t, folks think we’re divorced!” Michelle replied, laughing.

Later in the episode, Michelle praised Barack as a partner and a father. “There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting on my man,” she said. “And we’ve had some really hard times, and we’ve had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures, and I have become a better person because of the man I’m married to.”
I’ve never seen a couple less stressed about divorce rumors. Maybe they can double date with Jennifer Aniston and her hypnotist soon?
