by thenowvibe_admin

On Saturday, Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton died at 79. Her death was confirmed by Dori Rath, who produced a number of her recent films, according to the New York Times. In the wake of her death, industry colleagues, directors, and fellow entertainers have shared condolences and memories of the late actress across social media. Here’s how they’re mourning her.

Steve Martin

Martin, who played Keaton’s husband in Father of the Bride, reposted an interview exchange with Keaton and Martin Short, who asked her if he or Martin was sexier. “I mean, you’re both idiots,” Keaton replied. “Don’t know who first posted this, but it sums up our delightful relationship with Diane,” Martin wrote.

Paul Feig

“I was so honored to call Diane Keaton a friend,” Feig wrote on X. “She was an amazingly kind and creative person who also just happened to be a Hollywood legend. She has been taken from us far too soon. We will miss you, Diane.”

Jane Fonda

“It’s hard to believe … or accept … that Diane has passed,” Fonda wrote in her Instagram tribute.” She was always a spark of life and light, constantly giggling at her own foibles, being limitlessly creative … in her acting, her wardrobe, her books, her friends, her homes, her library, her world view.”
