For the first time in a clock tick, Ariana Grande isn’t walking the red carpet in full Glinda mode. At the 2025 Golden Globes, Grande wore a gown in her preferred Old Hollywood/Good Witch silhouette but in black instead of baby pink. Almost like she’s mourning the Wicked and Wicked: For Good press tours. We’ve all gained so much from these crazy flicks: They held fingers, held space, and flipped it around. Good-bye to all that, and say hello to the Eternal Sunshine tour.
What does Grande have next on her sched? There’s her first tour in seven years, then saying au revoir to the road for a “long, long, long, long time.” On the acting side of things, Grande has Meet the Parents 4 and AHS 13 coming up. Probably won’t get AG8 for a while, though. “I spent so much time only doing pop music, but I grew up as a girl who loved musical theater and comedy,” Grande said on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast. “I think the thing that will be best for my soul and also my art, and for what I’m giving myself to, is if I’m chasing things that sort of feel just very right in the moment, even if it’s spontaneous.”
