As if losing the Super Bowl isn’t enough. Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have seemingly unfollowed each other on Instagram shortly after the New England Patriots loss at the Super Bowl on Sunday. But why seemingly? If you check on Instagram right now, you’ll see they don’t follow each other. Sweet, sweet naive summer child. For those unhealthily aware of the social media dynamics between couples, there are countless possibilities of what could’ve happened: one could’ve blocked the other, one could’ve unfollowed the other and then removed them as a follower (so they’re not fully aware of the unfollowing happening), or worse: they accidentially unfollowed the other and then the other got super pissed and unfollowed in an angry rage. Okay, maybe there are three, at most four possibilities. Regardless, it definitely isn’t a good sign, but understandable if you were just dancing on stage for Bad Bunny.

Cardi B had her own spotlight during Sunday night’s game, as she joined Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Pedro Pascal at his casita during the song. “Yo Perreo Sola.” She left almost immediately after the half-time show. Some fans thought the relationship troubles between her and Diggs had started earlier, since she sent him a short message of support the day before. “Good luck,” she said simply when ESPN asked for an “inspiring” message to him before walking away. Cardi B and Diggs welcomed a baby boy last November, their first child together but each have had children with past partners.
