Blake Lively Likes Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl

by thenowvibe_admin

Taylor Swift’s showbiz pals are digging The Life of a Showgirl. Swift is getting congrats from all over: Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, and the George Michael estate are just a few of the famous names listening to “Wood” and learning all about Travis Kelce’s redwood. Minaj was an especially big fan of that song, tweeting that it sounds like falling in love with your soulmate. Obviously the George Michael estate’s favorite track was “Father Figure,” since they gave their blessing to the song before it came out. “We were delighted when Taylor Swift and her team approached us earlier this year about incorporating an interpolation of George Michael’s classic song ‘Father Figure’ into a brand new song of the same title to be featured on her forthcoming album,” the wrote on social media. ““When we heard the track we had no hesitation in agreeing to this association between two great artists and we know George would have felt the same.”

Blake Lively, who has been publicly distant from her former bestie since Swift got wrapped up in the It Ends With Us legal drama, liked Swift’s album release post on Instagram. It’s not full-throated support, but maybe Lively feels too “CANCELLED!” to post anything bigger. Here’s what other famous Swifties had to say about The Life of a Showgirl.

Minaj loved “Wood,” but also was big into “Accidentally Romantic” for its diss track potential.
