Fresh off his third divorce and a bunch of family drama, a new development has emerged in Billy Ray Cyrus’s love life: It seems like he’s now dating actor Elizabeth Hurley. They are, at the very least, smooching on Instagram — on Sunday, the two of them put up a joint post of them kissing in bunny ears with the caption “Happy Easter.”
Of all the Cyrus family drama, Billy’s romantic entanglements in particular have seen a lot of ups and downs. Until 2022, he was married to Tish Cyrus, with whom he had five children, including Miley and her younger musician sister Noah. Billy and Tish filed for divorce and got back together twice before finally calling it quits, and, in the years since their last separation, Tish has married Australian actor Dominic Purcell. (Their union prompted a separate flurry of rumors that her daughter Noah had dated Purcell first.) Meanwhile, Billy Ray Cyrus remarried in August 2022 to Australian singer Firerose, then got divorced seven months later. Hurley, whom you may recognize from Austin Powers and/or Gossip Girl, dated Hugh Grant for over a decade before marrying businessman Arun Nayar in 2007. They divorced in 2011.

Which brings us up to Sunday. It’s unclear how long Cyrus and Hurley have been smooching, but they have known each other since at least 2022 when they made a holiday movie together called Christmas in Paradise. The pair did not share any more details about their apparent romance, but they did both like one Instagram comment from actor Melissa Gilbert, which simply said, “Wait…..what?”
A rep for Cyrus declined to comment on the relationship. The Cut has reached out to Hurley’s representation and will update this post if we hear back.
