In today’s edition of random sports news, Aaron Rodgers is married. To whom, you may ask? Apparently, a woman named Brittani. Not Brittany. Brittani.
Rodgers revealed his new marital status today during a press conference when he confirmed the ring on his left finger was indeed a wedding band and not an Oura Ring. When asked how long he has been married, Rodgers replied, “It’s been a couple months.” Belated congratulations are in order, I guess.
While he didn’t state the name of his new wife, Rodgers has briefly spoken about his most recent girlfriend, Brittani, during two appearances on The Pat McAfee Show. We first learned of her existence in a December 2024 episode when Rodgers said he had been shopping online for holiday gifts instead of heading to the mall. “There was one package left for my girlfriend, Brittani, that hadn’t showed up yet,” he said. “I was waiting on this to show up; it showed up today.”

We also know her name is spelled with an i thanks to the show’s co-host, A.J. Hawk, who asked Rodgers if the Brittani in question was Britney Spears. “Not Britney Spears, no,” Rodgers said. “This is Brittani with an i.” He also said she’s not on social media, which is a sharp departure from his past roster of celebrity girlfriends.
Rodgers brought Brittani up again a few months later during an episode released on April 17. They were discussing his status as a free agent when he said, “I’m in a different phase of my life. I’m 41 years old; I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention.” Off-the-field stuff … like planning a wedding?
Whether his new wife is Brittani with an i or not, I sure hope she’s okay with attending “darkness retreats” and looking at his toes. All the luck to her.
