Caitlyn Jenner was in Israel as the guest of honor at a Pride celebration, but she had to hang out in a bomb shelter instead in response to Iran’s missile strikes. Sorry to throw all of those words at you in that specific order, and I’m even more sorry that it’s all true.
According to the New York Post, Jenner arrived in Israel on Thursday to take part in Tel Aviv’s Pride parade on Friday. Those plans were canceled after Israel attacked Iran, prompting retaliatory strikes in Israel. Jenner moved to a bomb shelter with the Israeli influencer Regev Gur, who shared a photo of the Olympian having a glass of red wine in a post on X. “What did you do during the alerts, because I’m drinking wine with Caitlyn,” Gur wrote in the since deleted post.
Jenner was able to leave the country on Sunday, according to a report in the Times of Israel. She crossed into Jordan by land, where she is reportedly planning to fly back to Los Angeles. Throughout this ordeal, Jenner has been posting in support of Israel. On Instagram, she posted a photo of missiles in the sky above her, set to Pentatonix’s cover of “Hallelujah.” (She had previously shared a video of her plane landing in Israel set to “Run This Town.”) On X, she wrote that she did not regret her trip to Tel Aviv, saying, “There is nowhere I would have rather been.”

Many people are asking if I regret or second guess my journey to Israel and being there while we were attacked.
Simple answer- NO.
There is nowhere I would have rather been.— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn_Jenner) June 16, 2025
In a statement to TMZ, Jenner said she was “proud” to be in Israel and managed to squeeze in a Donald Trump shout-out. “The spirit and strength of the Israeli people, and allies of Israel, specifically leaders like Donald Trump, have achieved a long overdue mission — the destruction and dismantling of the terrorist Iranian regime,” Jenner said. NBC News reports that over the past four days, at least 224 Iranians have been killed by Israeli strikes. Retaliatory strikes have killed at least 24 people in Israel.
TMZ confirmed that Jenner was not yet back in the United States as of Monday afternoon. Safe to assume, she’ll let us all know the second she lands.
