It seems like Natalie Portman is having an incredible summer. For a few weeks now, she’s been in New York filming Lena Dunham’s upcoming Netflix rom-com, Good Sex, and also, for reasons that are unclear, hanging out with Taylor Swift’s brother. Portman is co-starring in Good Sex with the singer Role Model, and on Monday night, she showed up to his show at Madison Square Garden for what looked like a very fun work-friend hang. During the show, Portman made a surprise appearance onstage, dancing to Role Model’s hit song “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.” It seems like she had a lot of fun as the night’s designated Sally: Videos of the moment showed her bouncing around stage in jorts and a white tee, hair flying.
If you’ve spent any time on TikTok the past few months, you’re probably already familiar with Role Model’s live performances of “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” which involve him inviting a guest to dance onstage as that night’s Sally — a sort of “One Less Lonely Girl” moment for the next generation. Though many of the Sallies have been plucked straight from the crowd, a few celebs have been granted the honor, including Renée Rapp, Bowen Yang, and Conan Gray.

Portman, as far as I know, is the first Oscar winner to win the Sally crown. Hopefully their co-star Mark Ruffalo is next?
