Justin and Hailey Bieber went to Disneyland over the weekend, and it seems like they had a great time. Justin posted a photo dump of their trip to Instagram, and in it you can see that the new parents were all smiles and Mickey ears as they rode the rides alongside Tate McRae’s boyfriend, the Kid Laroi, and the Australian singer Eddie Benjamin.
The trip happened hours after Justin shared a cryptic Instagram Story about how harboring hate has made him feel like he has been “drowning.” “I was always told when I was a kid not to hate,” Justin wrote in an all-caps post, “But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it. Which made me feel like I have been drowning feeling unsafe to acknowledge it.” He added that “we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there” before concluding, “How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”

This wasn’t the first moody Instagram Story Justin has posted in the last few weeks. Last Thursday, he wrote in a Story that he has always felt “unworthy” and “like a fraud.” In late February, Justin shared a lengthy missive about how he has “found love to be more powerful than rules.” “I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it,” he wrote. “But you don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. U just receive. So enter love living! God always grants us love! It’s one of his promises!”
Amid widespread speculation about Justin’s well-being, a representative for the singer told TMZ that the concern for his mental and physical health is “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.” The rep also said that the past year has been “very transformative” and Justin has “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
Tentatively … good for him? And despite all of his posting, Justin does look like he was having a lot of fun with Hailey on the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride. That counts for something!
