On Met Gala Monday, someone drove their car through the front gates of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air mansion. No one was hurt, but officers from the Los Angeles Police Department said that the homeowner — a.k.a. Aniston — was home at the time of the incident, which occurred around 12:20 p.m. PST.
The driver, identified by police as 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, was pulled out of his car and held at gunpoint by Aniston’s private security until law enforcement arrived. Whether the crash was accidental or intentional — sources told ABC News that “the crash into her gate did not appear to be an accident” — has yet to be confirmed and the man was detained and taken into custody on suspicion of felony vandalism, according to NBC.
