Still no R9, but Rihanna has given us B3 (baby number 3). She and up-and-coming thespian A$AP Rocky announced the birth of their third child, Rocki Irish Mayers, on social media Wednesday afternoon. Rocky said in a recent interview that he and Rihanna were praying for their first girl, and from the pink baby clothes it appears their prayers were answered. And we’ve got to say, great name. Rocki is a very cute way to femme up Rakim Athelston Mayer’s stage name.
Rocky and Rihanna have had three children in four years. RZA Athelston Mayers was born in May 2022, followed by Riot Rose Mayers in August 2023. Famously, Rihanna announced her pregnancy with Riot Rose while headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show. In the same interview last week, Rocky shared that he and Rihanna joke about how their blossoming family has gotten in the way of more records. “You know what we joke about?” he said. “She’s like, ‘Yo, I ain’t gonna lie. Your fans might want to kick your ass as much as my fans wanna kick my ass. What saves me is that I’m pregnant most of the time.’”
