After casually debuting their pregnancy earlier this month at the Met Gala, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are back on the red carpet. The pair arrived at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday night and braved the rain for the premiere of Highest 2 Lowest, a crime thriller directed by Spike Lee. Rocky stars in the film as Yung Felon, an aspiring rapper, alongside Denzel Washington, who plays a music mogul.
The rapper wore a classic Saint Laurent suit with Ray Ban sunglasses while Rih donned a bright blue custom Alaïa gown with cutouts around her growing baby bump. Is the color a tribute to her role as Smurfette in the upcoming Smurfs movie? Or maybe it’s a nod to the absolute banger of a single she just put out, also for the Smurfs movie. Seems too spot on not to be true. Smurfs aside, the couple are parents to 2-year-old RZA and 1-year-old Riot, and all we know about their third child is that they’ll also have an R name. I respect the consistency.
