Priscilla Presley Sued for $50 Million by Former Business Partners

by thenowvibe_admin

Will the legal battle over Graceland ever truly be over? There is another volley in the ongoing legal battle between Priscilla Presley and her ex-business partners Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This time, the heads of Priscilla Presley Partners are reportedly asking for $50 million in damages, alleging they were cut out of business deals and that Priscilla Presley may have let her daughter, Lisa Marie, die in order to control the Elvis Presley estate. Per court documents obtained by THR, the lawsuit alleges Priscilla Presley withdrew medical care after Lisa Marie was hospitalized in 2023. “Priscilla knew that Lisa’s death neutralized the threat of Lisa’s efforts to have Priscilla removed as the sole trustee of Lisa’s irrevocable life insurance trust, and Priscilla ultimately wanted to control the Promenade Trust and Graceland,” the complaint reads. “At her house the following week (before Lisa’s funeral), Priscilla exclaimed, ‘I’m the queen. I’m in charge of Graceland.’”

This complaint is just the latest in a long, long back-and-forth between Priscilla and the heads of PPP. In October 2023, Kruse sued Presley for breach of contract. In that suit, Kruse claimed Presley was on the brink of “insolvency” when she “approached” Kruse to handle her business affairs. Presley appointed Kruse as co-trustee of her trust, gave her medical and legal power of attorney, and formed PPP. The 2023 lawsuit claimed that Kruse and Fialko were iced out when Presley was contacted by Keya Morgan — the business manager who was accused and acquitted of elder abuse against Stan Lee.

In 2024, Presley filed her own lawsuit against Kruse and Fialko, accusing them of elder abuse and seeking $1 million. That suit claimed PPP “misappropriated” funds as part of a “meticulously planned and abhorrent scheme by the defendants in this action to prey on an older woman by gaining her trust, isolating her from the most important people in her life, and duping her into believing that they would take care of her — personally and financially — while their real goal was to drain her of every last penny she had.” Representatives for Kruse and Fialko said in a statement at the time that the suit was retaliation for the 2023 suit. Presley’s attorney, Marty Singer, conversely characterized the 2023 suit as an attempt “to falsely portray themselves as the victims.”
