Aside from Elon “Buddy in Chief” Musk, not many people seem to be having a good 2025 thus far. One notable exception, seemingly, is Ne-Yo, who has recently begun shouting from the rooftops his embrace of polyamory. Yes, the crooner of 2010s hits like “Miss Independent” and “Because of You” apparently has not one, not two, but four girlfriends. And guess what? They’re all doing amazing.
Over the past few months, Ne-Yo has been more public about his polyamorous lifestyle, including during a February interview in which he confirmed he’d added a fourth girlfriend to the mix. But on Sunday, he formally introduced each of his partners in an Instagram post for the first time. “Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly,” he wrote under a video of all four women posing for a glambot. “LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID,” he continued. “Say something nice or move on with your life. We happy over here.”

According to Ne-Yo’s Instagram caption, the four girlfriends are named Arielle, Cristina, Moneii, and Brionna. (Brionna, who according to “Page Six” is one of Ne-Yo’s backup dancers, appears to be the latest addition to the crew.) The other women, who go by the moniker “Mrs. Lefts” on Instagram, have been posting photos together on a shared account since last year. They hold hands. They take joint thirst traps. They get “Ne-Yo” lip tats. And honestly? They seem really happy.

Prior to this blissful configuration, Ne-Yo was married to TV personality Crystal Renay. After eight years together, Renay filed for divorce in 2022, accusing her ex of infidelity. (A messy court battle revealed he had fathered two children with another woman during their marriage.) Reflecting on his past relationships and eventual journey to polyamory in a February interview, Neyo said, “I feel like I wasted a lot of time just being dishonest about things, to the point where had I taken this approach initially, I could’ve saved myself a lot of headache and heartache. I ain’t manipulating nobody, I ain’t brainwash nobody, I ain’t lying to nobody. I set it out there. ‘Here’s what it is. I like you, but I also like her, and her, and her. If you cool with that, come on we gonna have a great time.’”
Sounds like he and the Mrs. Lefts are all on the same page.
