While Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are celebrating the arrival of their “celestial seed,” a.k.a. their daughter, they are in the midst of some Instagram drama with Fox’s ex-husband and his current fiancée. Well, MGK is. I’d wager Fox was more focused on giving birth than on whatever her exes were getting up to in the DMs.
On Thursday, mere hours before the birth was announced, Brian Austin Green posted a DM he apparently received from MGK to his Instagram Story. “Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. you the FEDS 🐀👮♂️. Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking my name in public,” the rapper seems to have written, adding, “You chose the wrong one to fuck with mr child actor. Go back to cereal commercials.”
MGK’s heated DM seems to have reignited a beef that started back in December when MGK and Fox broke up after she reportedly found some incriminating texts on his phone. At the time, Green — who was married to Fox for a decade and shares three sons with her — told TMZ he thought MGK should “grow up.” In late January, Green posted about MGK again, this time in response to a different TMZ story that claimed Fox was no longer speaking to MGK. Green posted a screenshot of the story and wrote that MGK should “just be honest for once in your life.” MGK responded with a moody photo of him staring out a window shirtless with the caption “How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything?”
Things between the two men seemed to have cooled off until Thursday’s dustup. Green was unfazed by MGK’s DM, captioning the screenshot with “I didn’t know ‘child actor’ was something bad” alongside several laugh-crying emoji. Green continued, “Leo, careful. He may be coming for you next,” referring to Leonardo DiCaprio also having been a child actor, I guess.
I know you’re wondering, When does Green’s fiancée, Sharna Burgess, enter this story? The time has come. Burgess weighed in with her own Instagram Story, reportedly writing in a quickly deleted post, “That was about the equivalent of a dog pissing on its territory making it known it’s back in the area.” For clarity, MGK is presumably the pissing dog here. Burgess followed up with a lengthy statement about co-parenting, shedding some light on why Green was asking when Fox’s baby was due. (She kept this post up.)
“A successful co-parenting relationship starts with communication and respect. Our kids are so excited about the arrival of their baby sister and we are excited FOR them,” she explained. “They have been asking us nearly every day of her arrival for about a month now. Naturally when they ask us to find out how mama is doing, we say no problem and do just that.”
And where is Megan Fox in all of this? Well, she was probably busy having contractions. Hopefully, she and the celestial seed are happy, healthy, and unaware of all the Instagram drama that was happening during labor.
