Kim Kardashian Finally Graduated From Her Law Program

by thenowvibe_admin

It has been more than six years since Kim Kardashian revealed she was following in her father’s footsteps and studying to become a lawyer. Now, she’s one step closer to that goal. In her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Kim shared that she had “finally graduated law school after six years.” In clips of what appeared to be a backyard celebration, she wore a graduation cap and celebrated with friends and family.

Kim didn’t actually attend law school in the traditional sense — in 2018, she began a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco. That nontraditional path, known as “reading the law,” qualifies you to take the bar in California and a few other states. Though the program was supposed to last four years, it took Kim six to finish it, per People, due to the pandemic and other work responsibilities (nipple bras don’t just invent themselves).

Anyway, as is often true in the Kardashian family, it looked like a pretty great party — there were flash-card place mats and grad-cap latte art, and Kim’s kids dressed for the occasion in their finest business attire. Psalm wore a beige suit and carried a briefcase in a look Kim said was inspired by her attorney father, Robert Kardashian Sr., while Chicago wore pinstripes à la her mom at Harvard Business School in 2023. Naturally, she accessorized the dapper fit with a Labubu clipped to her side. Also in attendance were Kim’s sisters Khloé and Kourtney, CNN’s Van Jones, and Chris Young, a formerly incarcerated man who was released from prison in 2021 as part of Kim’s ongoing criminal-justice-reform mission.

In a speech at the party that Kim posted on Instagram, Jessica Jackson, one of Kim’s legal mentors, called her law education “one of the most inspiring legal journeys we’ve ever seen.”

“Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice,” Jackson said. “No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination — and a mountain of case log books to read.” For six years, Jackson said, Kim spent “18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year” working toward completing the program,” all while “raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows, and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others.”

So, what’s next for the future Kim Kardashian Esq.? Well, before she can add that title to her name, she’ll need to pass the bar. According to People, she took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in March, which is typically taken before taking the bar exam, so it sounds like she’s well on her way. She’s doing amazing, sweetie!
