Jordon Hudson is not your average age-gap girlfriend. Aside from accompanying Bill Belichick on red carpets, in Dunkin’ commercials, and on beach-yoga excursions, Hudson is also apparently looking out for her man’s business interests. Last month, the fisherman advocate and beauty queen made headlines when Belichick reportedly requested she be cc’d on all of his work emails. Now, it appears she’s pulling a Taylor Swift by attempting to trademark some of Belichick’s signature catchphrases, which are currently owned by the Patriots and its billionaire owner, Robert Kraft.
According to documents obtained by People, an organization called Trouble Cub Enterprises filed 14 trademarks relating to Belichick’s famous sayings with the federal trademark office. Trouble Cub, of which Hudson appears to be the founder and CEO, proposed to reclaim ownership of “No Days Off,” “Do Your Job,” and “Ignore the Noise” by tacking a cute little “(Bill’s Version)” on the end. If successful, the filings would allow for Belichick — and presumably Hudson — to profit directly off of any merchandise created with the phrases. Right now, those sayings belong to the Patriots, where Belichick spent 24 years as the head coach and helped create one the NFL’s longest-running dynasties before departing in January 2024.
Of course, this tactic is reminiscent of Swift’s attempts to take back ownership of her masters, which currently belong to Scooter Braun, by re-releasing her music stamped with “(Taylor’s Version).” And it seems Hudson was at least partially inspired by the pop star: This week, she posted a shadowy photo in a snakeskin bodysuit to the tune of Swift’s “Vigilante Shit,” which is widely understood to be about Swift’s beef with Braun. And earlier this month around the time of her birthday, Hudson posted a shot of a sparkly green manicure atop a beaded snake clutch with Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” in the background. Hmm, that’s a lot of reptilian references for this to be a coincidence. Only time will tell if she’s planning to launch Eras Tour (Bill’s Version).
