There are a million reasons to despise Jax Taylor. But in case you need another, the Valley cast member is apparently concerned about — of all things — his height. During the season-two reunion that aired Wednesday night, several fans noticed that the 46-year-old seemed to be wearing lifts. “Page Six” claims to have identified the sneakers as a $118 pair of Totos. The shoes promise to add 2.4 inches of height.
This is funny for a couple of reasons. For one thing, Bravo reunion episodes are taped with the cast members sitting down for almost the entirety of the episode, so Taylor’s extra 2.4 inches aren’t going to do much for him while he’s chitchatting on a sofa. Second, as one X user pointed out, the man is already five-foot-ten — a height most people would consider average to tall. “Jax your height is nothing to be insecure about … you’re literally tall …” one X user wrote. “Let’s focus on being a better person, not a taller one lol.”

This was not Taylor’s first foray into the world of lifts. In a 2019 episode of Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live, his now-ex Brittany Cartwright shared that he “secretly wears heel inserts in his shoes to make him look taller.” Once a lifts wearer, always a lifts wearer, I guess.
This latest offense comes after Taylor spent the last two seasons of the series harassing and berating Cartwright. Earlier this month, he announced he’d be leaving the show, so I guess this really is his last chance to show everyone what sort of guy he is. Apparently, he’d like the takeaway to be “tall.” Or at least, 2.4 inches taller than he used to be.
