Remember when Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley revealed they were dating, and everyone was like, Huh, sure? Well, it sounds like they’re still going strong. Speaking to “Page Six” on Tuesday, the British actress acknowledged that people had found the pairing to be “a little surprising” — but not her. “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well,” Hurley explained.
Ever since their Easter-themed Instagram hard launch last month (which Hurley observed had prompted “quite a reaction”), these two have forged onward with the Instagram PDA. They’ve been pictured smooching on a nature walk and romantically off-roading into the sunset, American flag billowing in tow.

So what exactly does our unexpected couple have in common? Plenty, according to Hurley. They “both like to laugh,” she said, and they “both love the country.” Relatedly, they also “both love country music” and “cowboy boots,” said Hurley, who, again, is British. And they both “love movies.”

Cyrus’s relationship with Hurley comes on the heels of his third divorce and some highly publicized family drama. Though it’s not quite clear how long they’ve been together, the two have known each other since at least 2022, when they made a holiday movie together called Christmas in Paradise. According to “Page Six,” they reconnected amid Cyrus’s divorce, when Hurley texted him that he’s “got a friend in your corner,” to which Cyrus reportedly replied, “Who is this?” Sounds romantic.
Congratulations to these two lovebirds. May their love for each other be surpassed only by their love of movies and leather boots.
