It’s like Audrey Hepburn’s Roman Holiday but for a 365 party girl. Charli XCX and her husband, George Daniel, reportedly had their second wedding in Sicily over the September 13 weekend. And every tabloid has a different tidbit, so the angels could attend vicariously. Per People, the re-nuptials took place in Sicily on September 14. Among those in attendance were Daniel’s the 1975 bandmates including Matty Healy, who was the first to stand when the couple made their grand exit, and Gabbriette, Devon Lee Carlson, Charli’s Sweat Tour collaborator Troye Sivan, and Healy’s mother, Denise Welch. According to “Page Six,” the couple walked down the aisle together to “Hero,” by Enrique Iglesias. Charli wore a semi-sheer white wedding dress, while Daniel wore a beige suit with black shoes.
Afters, of course, included neon-orange drinks on the beach. The Sun described the party as a “no expenses spared rave cave,” and a source said the party would go until “last person standing collapses into bed.” More than enough time to fall in love, again and again.
